Xunlai tournament question - Guild Wars Forums

so i registered last month, made my guesses (yes, guesses), and let it go. is it possible that i didn't even manage 1 point? or am i doing something wrong to redeem them?

Well, not enough details to know where your problem is so I'll just run through a short FAQ.

A) make sure your e-mail account for the xunlai house is the same as the one your game is registered on, otherwise they can't link the two accounts (but don't use the same password just in case of keylogging)

B) Talk to the Xunlai Tournament House NPC in LA, Kamadon (I think?), or Great Temple of Bathazar to pick up your points after the update.

C) You automatically get 5 points just for entering, so you are guaranteed at least 1 key (5 points needed per key, get them by talking to another NPC, Tolkono [Tournament])

D) The server that runs the xulai website has to interface with the game server. So when the update occurs, not all the people are uploaded at once. So if you checked for your points RIGHT after the update happened and didn't get any points, that might be the problem. If you followed all the other steps correctly, just wait a while and your points should be added. If they aren't up by tommorow, then you (or more unlikely A.net) made a mistake.

This is false. I have a different e-mail address set up for my predictions than I do to enter the game.

You do have to register your account with Talkano though, so that they can link the two. He's in any PvP outpost or in your Guildhall. I have heard, but do not know if it is accurate, that you have to register with Talkano before the points are delivered in the update. If that's true (and I really don't know if it is) then you won't be able to collect this month.
